This Retreat is based on the internationally acclaimed research of Dr. John Gottman as presented in his New York Times bestselling book -- The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work. This educational workshop is designed to help couples improve their friendship and conflict management skills.

For over 30 years, Dr. Gottman scientifically analyzed the habits of married couples and established a method of correcting the behaviors that put thousands of marriages on the rocks. He helps couples focus on each other and the small day-to-day moments that, strung together, make up the heart and soul of any relationship.

This retreat is designed to strengthen your marriage. If you already have a strong relationship, this retreat will provide you with insights and tools to make it even better. If your relationship is distressed, this retreat will provide a road map for repair.

Curtis Williams, one of our Greenville Oaks members, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and authorized Seven Principles Program Educator, who will lead us through the weekend.
