Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery (CR) helps people work through the things that can create emotional and physical difficulty in their lives. This program has been developed by taking the teachings of Jesus and biblical principles and building a multi-step process that helps individuals address not only the issues that are evident but also the underlying things that are driving these. This enables us to experience lasting change and fosters mental, emotional and spiritual health.

While CR can help those who are struggling with chemical dependencies or other addictive behaviors, it is not just for individuals in those situations. The truths that this process is based upon can help any of us deal with a wide variety of things causing hurt in our lives, enabling us to recognize our hang-ups so we can move past them and overcome the unhealthy habits we have developed. There are weekly meetings (52 weeks a year) on Wednesdays which provide a time of worship along with either a teaching or testimony of how God has enabled people to work through their issues and become free of the hang-ups and habits that have had such a destructive impact on their lives. This is followed by a time of sharing (in same-gender small groups) where people can be encouraged and then have a time of fellowship together.

HOPE at Greenville Oaks

HOPE at Greenville Oaks is designed to provide an opportunity and the support needed to process feelings such as fear, hurt, frustration and anger that are often associated with painful circumstances. By combining mental health concepts with biblical truths, spiritual and personal growth can be promoted in a safe and confidential environment. The desire and aim of HOPE is to model the healing ministry of Jesus Christ and to point those who are hurting to the One who can heal. HOPE is structured so that new group members can join at anytime during the year and stay in the group for the duration of the healing process. The group meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30–8:00 p.m. Childcare is provided for the time not covered by Wednesday evening classes.
