The Student Ministry is dependent upon the commitment of Godly, mature adults who will build and nurture spiritual relationships with teenagers. These spiritual relationships are the foundation for our ministry because they foster growth in our students. Our volunteers come in all ages and life stages, and have diverse life experiences. Some are gifted in teaching, some in hospitality, some in encouraging, and others in general goofiness. The thing all of our volunteers have in common is that they are striving to grow into the image of Christ, and want to bring teenagers alongside them.
Some of the main roles our volunteers play are:
- Sunday Morning Bible Class Teacher
- Sunday Morning Bible Class Class Host
- Sunday Night Group Leader
- Sunday Night Logistics Team Help
- Refresh Greeter
- Refresh Leader
- Adult Volunteer for retreat and other activities
- Helping with our Hospitality Team
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact Wes Rasbury or Carol Immel.
Safe Place Training
In an effort to protect our students as much as we can, we require all of our Children's Ministry and Student Ministry volunteers to go through Safe Place Training. If you have not been through this training, but would like to volunteer, please contact Bruce Neville to start this process.
