MINISTRY DESCRIPTION

The Greenville Oaks Men’s Ministry exists to develop a fellowship of men who seek to become stronger men of God. A man of God first and foremost seeks an intimate personal relationship with God that is evident in how he conducts his life. He will reflect the love of God in his personal relationships.

This is a gender-specific fellowship where men can support each other as one spiritual leader to another, as “iron sharpens iron” (Proverbs 27:17).  We seek to understand and support each other in struggles that are common with men—pornography, pride, anger, etc.  We will encourage and hold each other accountable in developing our personal relationships with God, in providing spiritual leadership for our families, and becoming witnesses to a lost world.

MINISTRY ROLES

  • Help with an Annual Men’s Advance with a guest speaker to provide spiritual instruction, worship, fellowship, food and recreation
  • Help with a Men’s Class conducted at least one quarter per year
