Serve and Share

God created us to make a contribution, not just consume resources. He designed each of us with unique talents, gifts, skills, and abilities. He equipped us for the benefit of others, just like others were equipped to benefit us.

At Greenville Oaks you can serve others through many ministry opportunities. Discovering Your S.H.A.P.E. will help you match your individual God-given combination of Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences (S.H.A.P.E). with a service opportunity you will be good at and actually enjoy. Everyone who commits to be a member of the Greenville Oaks church will be asked to actively participate in some area of service to our church family or community.

As you engage in serving others our Engage 1:8 Ministry helps encourage, train, and equip you to more clearly see how God works in your life and in the lives of other people. Discovering Discipleship will help you learn to see God at work as you care for a guest’s baby in the nursery, greet visitors, visit with a neighbor, or conduct health screenings in a third world country. As you see God it’s easy to join His work and naturally share your own God story.
