MINISTRY DESCRIPTION and ROLES

Over the past few years several large and small teams have traveled to Grenada to serve the people and strengthen the churches of that small island nation. This developing partnership has included leadership training, construction projects, Vacation Bible School, basketball clinics, sponsoring a Grenadian ministry student interning at Greenville Oaks and sending Christmas gifts to children in Grenada. We seek a high level of personal involvement in mission efforts in Grenada, Rwanda as well as other places in Africa, Canada and south Texas, so that while we learn to serve in other areas we also develop skills and confidence to reach others for Christ right here at home.

This year, we plan to go to Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. The kick-off information meeting was held. Preliminary preparation is already started which will continue in 2010.
