Rob Stevens

Rob joined the facility support staff at Greenville Oaks during the summer of 2016 in a part-time role, assisting the Facility Manager. In July of 2017, changed roles, managing the day-to-day facility requirements at Greenville Oaks. Rob retired in 2005 after 34 years in the domestic and international transportation industry. His dream was to work part-time at the church, serving behind the scenes.

Rob was baptized in 1973 and became involved in teaching and serving the church to meet any need. As his faith matured, his relationship with God became paramount in his day-to-day life. Forming relationships with others he meets is how Rob shows his love for God and Jesus on a daily basis.

Rob met his wife, Pat, in 1967 and it was love at first sight. They were married in 1969 and have two children and five grandchildren. Before moving to Plano in 1990, they lived in Clinton, NJ; Summerville, SC; Port Everglades, FL; Houston, TX; Orlando, FL; and Daytona Beach, FL.

Rob received a degree in marketing research and statistics in 1974. He started working for United Parcel Service (domestic transportation) in January of 1972. In January of 1977, Rob went to work for Sealand Service (international transportation) until his retirement in December of 2005.

In his spare time, Rob enjoys riding his motorcycle, reading, or playing a round of golf.
