Collin Packer

Lead Minister

Collin joined the staff at Greenville Oaks in August of 2014. As the Lead Minister, Collin leads the church in pursuing its vision. He also leads through his passion for reclaiming the sermon as place for encountering God in refreshing ways that changes how we walk Monday through Saturday. Collin also leads the teaching that happens with adults around Greenville Oaks.

Collin is grateful for his heritage of faith. His dad was a preacher and his mom is the most spiritually connected person he has ever known. Collin readily appreciates that he was born on 3rd base, but that trek home to God has been quite a journey. Yet, each of the detours his life has taken has made him appreciate a God who has pursued every step of the way.

Collin and his wife, Holly, are high school sweethearts who began their relationship at Dallas Christian High School. Collin and Holly were married in 2004 and they have three children, Maddox, Addison, and Brooklyn.

After leaving Abilene Christian University with degrees in Christian Ministry and a Master of Divinity, Collin served as the Lead Minister for a church near Denver, Colorado before returning home to Texas.

Though his family and preaching are his first loves, Collin enjoys golfing, reading, and avidly following his favorite sports teams.
