God wants us to continue growing toward spiritual maturity: that is, to become like Jesus in the way we think, feel, and act. As we develop Christlike character, we bring glory to God. The Bible says Christ wants His body to grow strong, until we are united by our faith and by our understanding of the Son of God. Then we will be mature, just as Christ is, and we will be completely like him. (Ephesians 4:13 CEV) A vital tool in our journey toward spiritual maturity is ongoing Bible study.
