What to Expect When You Visit

Parking/timing

If you arrive for the 10:40 a.m. service, the parking lot can be a bid crowded as people who attended the 8:00 a.m. worship service and 9:30 a.m. class period are leaving the property. However, there is typically ample marked guest parking directly in front of the building (west side). If it is raining, you can drop family members off under the covered entrance on the north side of the building.

On your first visit, it’s best to arrive about 10 to 15 minutes early if you’d like to take advantage of our quality Nursery Center for children birth through 36 months. If you are coming for the 9:30 a.m. Bible class period, you’ll also want to arrive early to find the appropriate classroom location for each family member.

Welcome Center

Immediately inside the front entrance you’ll find a Welcome Center staffed with friendly and knowledgeable volunteers. They will provide some overview information and be happy to help you find the Nursery, classrooms, worship center, coffee, and tea or answer any questions.

Worship Service

You will receive a bulletin that includes the worship program when you enter the building. Both assemblies (8:00 and 10:40 a.m.) are identical in style, with the same sermon and music. We use a mix of contemporary praise songs and traditional hymns that are led by a worship leader and vocal praise team. The words of each song will be displayed on a large screen. Sheet music is also available in the foyer. Near the beginning of the service everyone will be invited to stand and greet each other. Don’t worry; you will not be pointed out as a visitor. There will also be a time in the service when anyone can share a request for public prayer or to talk and pray privately with an elder couple.

You are welcome to simply observe or to participate fully as we sing praises to God, join together in prayer, remember Jesus’ sacrifice for us in communion, hear a message from God’s Word, and enjoy being together with others who are seeking to know and follow Jesus.
